Personal information is information about an identifiable individual and includes your contact information, name, travel itinerary and other information described below.

Booking Travel

UTOvacation may collect, use or disclose your information, either directly or through our partners, for the purposes of offering or securing services on your behalf, such as your name, age, address, phone number, e-mail address, emergency contact information, travel medical information (where required), insurance details, passport information , ISIC information (if applicable), nationality, residency, dietary preferences, trip evaluations, travel and accommodation preferences, trip destination information, and payment-related information. This personal information enables us to provide you with trip information, book flights, accommodations, process payments, and provide similar travel services.

By selecting UTOvacation as your travel partner, please note that UTOvacation may rely on local service providers. UTOvacation may be required to provide certain personal details to our local partners for the purposes of delivering the services. When you book travel services with us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by UTOvacation—and the corresponding collection and use by the relevant travel partners or suppliers for the purposes of administering and delivering the travel services you purchased.

Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of:

Providing ongoing service and support & resolution of any issues with the services or products you requested from UTOvacation;

Informing you about our products and services, or those of our partners that may be relevant  to you (provided that we have received consent from you if required);

Helping us determine specific products and services that are relevant to you;

Ensuring the safety and security of our passengers and products and conducting internal accounting and administration of our business;

Complying with governing laws, regulations, and immigration requirements.

Contests and Newsletters

UTOvacation may collect personal information, including contact information such as name, address, and phone number or email address if you agree to enter contest with us, subscribe to our newsletter, or request additional information. UTOvacation will use this information for the execution of the specific contest. 

Travel Agents and Agencies

UTOvacation collects personal information (as described above) from agents and agencies as required to book UTOvacation’ trips and be properly credited for such booking. If you are an agent booking with UTOvacation you may be asked to validate your employment of affiliation with your parent Travel Agency. 

Service Provider Arrangements

In addition to the third party travel suppliers outlined above, UTOvacation may use your personal information to third parties who provide services on our behalf UTOvacation. This may include for example, third party payment processors, customer management software and email distribution platforms. 

Your personal information may be used or maintained by our service providers in the US, Canada or other jurisdictions. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions about our this policy at info@utovacation.com. Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose your personal information for their own or any other purpose purposes.

Change of Ownership

We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of UTOvacation or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

UTOvacation and our service providers may provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. UTOvacation has implemented measures designed to help protect your personal information in our possession. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control. Despite our efforts, no collection or transmission of information over the Internet or other publicly accessible communications networks can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and therefore, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any such information. With that said the safeguards implemented by UTOvacation exceed standard legal requirements. 

Access to My Private Information

At all times you have access to your personal information which has be submitted to UTOvacation. You may also update your information to modify any inaccuracies.  Please note, UTOvacation reserves the right to validate your identity before any changes are put into affect. 

You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. You may access, update, and/or correct much of your personal information through your account on the UTOvacation website, or you may request access, updates and corrections of inaccuracies in personal information we have in our custody or control by emailing or writing to us at the contact information set out below. We may request certain personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to their personal information records.

Third-Party Cookies

Third-party vendors show UTOvacation’ ads across the internet. These third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website. You can opt-out of third-party usage of cookies for advertising purposes by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page available at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/.

We may also use a third party to help us gather and analyze information about the areas that you visit on the website to evaluate and improve the customer experience and the convenience of the website, and to help us evaluate some of the specific information related to your website visits.

Website Policies and Cookies

UTOvacation website uses a technology called a “cookie,” which is a small element of data that our website can send to your browser to be stored on your computer so that we can recognize your computer when you return. If you have registered with our website, cookies may provide us and our service providers with information that helps improve your overall experience on our website. If you decide not to accept cookies from our website, you may not be able to take advantage of all of its features or special offers from our organization.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

UTOvacation reserves the right to modify and adjust our privacy policy. Modifications will be highlighted and passengers will be notified on this page 30 days before they go into effect. 

Remarks:

1) UTOvacation reserves the right to impose relevant fuel/inflation surcharge if Brent Crude Oil Price Index or US/Canada Official CPI has jumped over 4% between your booking date and tour departure date.

2) The credits in the Affiliate Program cannot be combined with any other promotions or coupons and redeemed in the same booking.

3) Any promotional coupons cannot be applied to any of the extra items including but not limited to visa service fees, gratuities, sightseeing admission ticket fares, meal plans, single supplement charges, airport transfers, travel insurance, any taxes/surcharges and optional tours.

4) Full or final payment is due 150 days before tour departure date.  Travel documents including but not limited to valid Passport (or copy), Risk assumption waiver form with signature shall be collected as well by this date. Any failure to do so might result in trip cancelation, price increase, inflation surcharge or forfeiting your existing fund in your account.

5) UTOvacation reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour any time prior to departure date if the group has less than ten passengers. An alternative departure date will be offered for no extra charge or full payment will be returned. If there are extreme cases happening which are all beyond our control including but not limited to any travel restrictions, lock-downs imposed by governments, health organizations, travel bureaus or any global pandemics, regional epidemics, wars and any other acts of god, a full travel credit will be offered for the terminated tours  and such credit could be redeemed for future trip rebooking or rescheduling. UTOvcation reserves the right to charge any expenses already occurred should the above extreme situations arise and UTOvacation is not reliable for any extra cost or loss caused by those situations.  

6) All upgrade packages are 100% non-refundable, items including flight package, hotel, cruise cabin, meal package and etc.
